Kid Tigrrr, the comic book turned music project by Jenna Fournier, performed Saturday night at Mahall’s 20 Lanes in Lakewood, Ohio. The show followed the recent release of her new single “Shapes of Water” which is available to stream now on all platforms.
In Jenna’s own words, the name Kid Tigrrr has stuck because “the kid part represents our inner child-artist that we play and create from…and it’s juxtaposed against a tiger (spelled tigrrr as a nod to the Riot Grrrls) to embody the fierceness it takes to be a woman, an artist, a survivor.”
While there are no current plans for the comic series, Fournier has big plans for the music project in 2024. The first of which is a new single coming in less than a month on Janurary 19. After that, fans can look forward to the full album later in the year. Jenna also plans to bring the live show together with visuals, tracks, and additional members. With this, she hopes to be able to tour the new album, all while working towards the next Kid Tigrrr album and finishing the album for her other band, Niights.
